Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha: A Divine Consecration Ceremony and Symbol of Unity

On January 22, 2024, the much-anticipated consecration ceremony, known as the 'Prana Pratishtha,' will take place at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Organized by Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, this sacred ritual breathes life into the temple's idols, forging a divine connection between the spiritual and the material realms.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the 'Pran Pratishtha' rituals, accompanied by a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit. The event has attracted attention not only from devout followers but also from
various celebrities and notable personalities who have received invitations.
Highlighting the architectural marvel, Signify has adorned the Ram Mandir with custom lighting, accentuating key sections and featuring 110 unique ornamental poles along the sacred Ram Path.
The Ayodhya Ram Mandir, also known as Lord Shri Ram Temple, holds historical significance amid a long-standing religious and political dispute in India. Having been demolished by Mughal emperor Babur in the 16th century, it was replaced by the Babri Masjid, standing for centuries until its controversial demolition in 1992.
The resolution of the Ayodhya dispute by the Indian Supreme Court in 2019 paved the way for the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, a trust established by the Indian government, took charge of the construction.
Beyond its religious importance, the completion of the Ram Mandir is poised to bring about a significant economic transformation in Ayodhya. Business opportunities in lodging, boarding, parks, and tourism-related services are expected to flourish, marking a new chapter in the city's development.
