Kundalini Awakening: Spiritualism, Science and the God

(The excerpts from the book "SUPER HUMAN- Mahamanav" by LOKESH SHRIVASTAV)

Inside every human being on this earth, all types of known-unknown perfections (supernatural powers) and miraculous powers are present in a dormant state. The need just is to awaken this. We are bound by the limitations of the capabilities of our mind and sense organs till the time this is in the awakened state. As the dormant power awakens, this limitation also crumbles. And from here there begins a series of miracles and supernatural perfections. It is another matter that after this awakening, the above mentioned perfections have no importance for the person who has paid respect to miracles through the ages. He begins to move forward continuously on the path of climax of supreme bliss.

It is unfortunate that the human, who by making communication equipment like telephone, television, radio and wireless with the help of artificial means and technology, by sending satellites in the space and by transcending the boundary of the earth through stepping on to other planets with the help of self-made automatic machines, is oblivious of the inner extra ordinary power and capabilities hidden within himself. The modern man is born, lives life on his own and again sleeps forever. He does not even know the secret source of power within himself for his whole life. His condition is like a beggar from an old story who lived by begging on a pathway. One day he died. When

some good hearted people dug the earth below his sitting place to bury his unclaimed body, they found that there lay buried precious diamonds and jewels.

The literal meaning of the term 'kundalini' reveals much more about itself. The meaning of this term is - 'one who resides in a kunda'. Kunda is a container in which fire is kept. This 'Havan' Kunda is a container like this which is prepared for 'Havan'. Its link with the fire gives us a feeling of infinite energy hidden in it. The 'kundalini' has another meaning as well - taking the position of kundal (ring / coil). That is, one that is in a circular form like a serpent making one ring above the other.

The Kundalini, situated near the lower 'tip' of the spinal cord in the Muladhar chakra, sleeping like a snake, begins to vibrate when awakened. It is hell bent on moving in the upward direction by raising its hood like a snake. After crossing this chakra (Muladhar), it is eager to reach the topmost or sahastrar chakra by making its way through other chakras of the upper region one-by-one. It stays at each chakra before moving to other chakra after staying a little at every chakra. This process is called the 'shatachakra Bedhan' or piercing the six chakras. This is the journey of Kundalini. The practitioner feels different kinds of miraculous changes when every chakra becomes activated after being pierced by the Kundalini.

There is no doubt in this fact that people of ancient civilizations found in India and many other parts of the world also knew many mysteries of nature. There is ample proof of this fact. Although there was neither any developed science nor ultramodern scientific equipment and laboratories present in those days with the help of which research and investigation could have been made possible. In those days science was not in the form as it is today, so it was also not possible to produce the scientific concepts in theoretical form. The persons knowing it were able to feel it themselves but were unable to express it before the ordinary mass. This limitation motivated them to give a definite human form to various natural processes and powers. In the chapter dealing with the history of the universe and the process of its creation, it has been previously clarified that in the Hindu religion the powers dealing with creation, regulation and finally destruction have been named Brahma, Vishnu a spectively. This applies to all supernatural powers, which are present in the human form. Thus the fundamental basis of spiritualism and science is the same. Click here to order this book online at Amazon.
