There's a lot of hope and money riding on Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha which is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump and Raksha Bandhan, in which Kumar plays a devoted big brother to four sisters. However, both the movies are 'struggling' Bollywood's online hate problem.

A section of users on social media are demanding to boycott the films, actors and even Bollywood itself. However, a few experts believe that these boycott calls will have no effect and on the contrary Raksha Bandhan & Laal Singh Chaddha clash can be a golden opportunity for Bollywood to bring back the audience to the cinema halls. Both movies are set to release in theatres on 11 August.

China's foreign ministry on Friday announced that dialogue between US and Chinese defence officials would be cancelled, while co-operation on returning illegal immigrants, climate change, and investigating international crime would be suspended. The new measures were decided after a trip to Taiwan by a US congressional delegation led by senior Democrat Nancy Pelosi. The decision to halt co-operation was taken because Ms Pelosi visited Taiwan "in disregard of China's strong opposition and serious representations," the Chinese ministry said in a statement.

US fireman finds 10 dead in house blaze are his family
A firefighter in Pennsylvania responded to a house blaze and found that his own family was trapped  inside. Harold Baker told a news agency that the dead were his son, daughter, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, three grandchildren and two other relatives. Also, the three children who died - two boys and a girl - did not live in the home, and were visiting for summer activities.

Before his detention, Rahul Gandhi said, "All Congress MPs were marching towards Rashtrapati Bhawan to raise the issue of inflation and price rise but they are not allowing us to go ahead from Vijay Chowk. Our job is to raise the issues of the people. Some MPs were detained, also beaten."
