Which city in the world is cheapest to live in?

Manchester is the cheapest city in the world according to its dwellers. Only 10 percent of the people living in Manchester thought their city was too expensive to live in. Based on the surveys of 27,000 city inhabitants worldwide, the annual Time Out Index by TimeOut magazine, most of the highest-ranking cities can be found on the European continent.
According to the survey, 17, 18 and 24 percent
of the people (respondents) in Budapest, St Petersburg and Prague, respectively, believe that their city was overpriced. South Africa's Johannesburg and the Canadian city of Montreal shared the 3rd place with Budapest in this ranking of the world's cheapest cities.
The other side of this survey is even more surprising. A whopping 99 percent of respondents living in Zurich claimed that living in the biggest city in Switzerland was too expensive. While 87 and 86 percent of people surveyed in Tel Aviv, Los Angeles and Paris, respectively, thought the same about their city. (Source: Statista)
